Meet Our Home Manager

Welcome to Longview Care Home.

My name is Vivian, and I have over 26 years of experience in the care sector. Building my career from the ground up, I started as a Care Assistant and progressed through various roles such as Senior Carer, Deputy Manager, Home Manager, Senior Home Manager, and Regional Operations Director. Since 2012, I’ve been proud to be part of the Runwood Homes team.

Throughout my journey, I have led a nursing home to achieve an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission and have been honoured with several accolades, including ‘Best Home of the Year.’

I am deeply committed to ensuring our residents are safe, comfortable, and truly happy. My focus is on delivering exceptional, person-centred care that reflects the individual wishes and needs of every resident, ensuring they enjoy the best possible experience each day

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food or modified food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.

Activities & Events

Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The Lifestyle Coordinator will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include Music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.
