Residents and staff at Park View Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, enjoyed a truly exciting afternoon when an Elvis Presley tribute performer brought the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll back to life in a spectacular live show.
The event was inspired by a resident’s request during a recent community meeting for an Elvis impersonator to perform at the home. Residents alongside staff, families, and friend, were invited to join the celebration.
“It was like the real Elvis was in the home,” said one resident. “Everyone was singing and clapping—we all knew the songs.”
The highlight of the performance came when Elvis serenaded the audience with Love Me Tender, presenting red roses to the ladies in a touching and memorable moment.
The atmosphere at the home was brilliant and everyone was seen joining in and singing along. Events like these are important because they bring joy, build community spirit, and in this case, fulfilled a resident’s dream.
