Residents from Four Acres Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, enjoyed a meaningful and educational day out as they visited the Coventry Museum on 04 December 2025.
A group of six residents travelled with staff together in the home’s minibus to enjoy what became a lovely day of discovery, reflection, and community connection.
“Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the trip,” said Jasmine, Home Manager at Four Acres. “We learnt so much about history and reminisced about the things we used to do. It was a day of remembrance and learning.”
The outing offered residents the chance to engage with local history while experiencing the simple joy of being out in the community. “It is important to get out of the home and into the community to feel the sun on our skin and to experience the things we would when we are at home,” Jasmine added.
The visit to the Coventry Museum not only provided enrichment and stimulation but also encouraged social interaction, shared memories, and a sense of togetherness among residents and staff at Four Acres.
