Frank Foster House Care Home, part of Runwood Homes Group, recently hosted a vibrant celebration of Diwali, the Festival of Lights, bringing together residents, staff, and the wider community.
The event featured lively Bollywood dancing led by Soulma and an informative talk about the significance of Diwali, allowing everyone to immerse themselves in the traditions and spirit of this important festival.
Nicolas Kee Mew, Manager at Frank Foster House commented: “It was wonderful to see everyone join in the celebrations and enjoy learning about Diwali. Moments like these highlight the joy of coming together as a community.”
Residents shared their experiences of the day, with Maureen saying, “I enjoyed the Diwali party,” and Olive adding, “This is my first time celebrating Diwali, I really enjoyed it.”
