Frank Foster House Care Home, part of Runwood Homes Group, is proud to celebrate Nicolas, Manager at Frank Foster House, who has volunteered in Chinatown for the Chinese New Year Parade for four consecutive years, supporting the community and honouring this significant cultural celebration.
This year’s festivities marked the Year of the Snake, making the occasion even more special. The annual parade in London is widely recognised as the largest Chinese New Year celebration outside of Asia, drawing thousands of visitors to the West End and Chinatown to enjoy the vibrant performances, traditional costumes and cultural displays.
Residents at Frank Foster House gathered together to watch the parade live on television, proudly spotting Nicolas among the volunteers. There was a strong sense of pride throughout the home as they saw him representing the community with such dedication and commitment. The atmosphere in the home was filled with excitement and pride as they watched the celebrations unfold on screen.
