Frank Foster House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, was filled on the 10th of October with positivity, laughter, and community spirit as staff and residents joined together to celebrate World Mental Health Day.
The event began with a calming Tai Chi session led by Nicolas, Home Manager at Frank Foster House, which helped everyone unwind and focus on relaxation and mindfulness. The session was well-received, setting a peaceful tone for the day.
Following Tai Chi, the energy turned upbeat with a K-Pop singalong and dance session. Residents and staff alike got involved, creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere. Smiles, singing, and dancing filled the room, which was a great reminder of the importance of looking after everyone’s mental wellbeing.
Catherine shared, “What a lovely idea to celebrate!”, while Rasa commented, “I feel appreciated – and it’s so important to focus on mental health.”
The celebration also included a relaxing coffee afternoon, offering time to connect and reflect on the importance of mental wellbeing.
World Mental Health Day at Frank Foster House proved to be not only enjoyable but also meaningful, underlining the home’s commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment.
