Bennett Lodge care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, was filled with joy and appreciation when the generous customers of The Garden Coffee Shop and Diner at Damyns Hall Aerodrome came together to donate gifts for the residents this Christmas. On Wednesday, 18th December, Jackie, the owner of the coffee shop, visited the home to personally deliver the thoughtful gifts, bringing festive cheer and spreading goodwill.
The residents at Bennett Lodge were delighted by the surprise, and their smiles reflected the warmth of the community spirit that continues to shine throughout the holiday season. Dorothy, a resident at Bennett Lodge, was particularly moved by the gesture, exclaiming, “Wow, I can’t believe this is all for us.”
Jill Hunt, Deputy Manager at Bennett Lodge, shared her gratitude, saying, “Thank you so much to Jackie for choosing our home and to all of the lovely people who donated gifts for our residents.
