Meet Our Home Manager

Laura Smith

Bennett Lodge is a residential care home for up to 47 older people, including those living with dementia. We are a happy home with happy staff.

Families are always welcome to join in with daily life. We have lots going on in the home with various activities and an enclosed garden, accessible to all. Our staff are trained in all areas to meet the needs of our residents. We welcome you to visit us and look around at any time.

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.

Activities & Events

Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The Lifestyle Coordinator will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.
