Residents of Humfrey Lodge care home recently embarked on a delightful minibus trip to their sister home, Redbond Lodge, both part of the Runwood Homes group, organised by Humfrey Lodge’s Lifestyle Coordinator, Weronika Bien. This event provided a valuable opportunity for residents, family members, and staff to connect and engage in a day filled with activities.
The trip aimed to foster a sense of community among the residents while promoting physical well-being through a group exercise class. Participants enjoyed the shared experience, reinforcing the bonds between them and highlighting the importance of social interaction and physical activity in enhancing overall well-being.
Weronika Bien, the Lifestyle Coordinator at Humfrey Lodge, expressed her joy regarding the event, stating, “It was truly heartwarming and uplifting to witness the genuine connections and interactions among our residents as they engaged with each other.”
This visit not only allowed residents to exercise together but also strengthened the ties between Humfrey Lodge and Redbond Lodge, illustrating the commitment to fostering a supportive and vibrant community for all residents.
