Leawood Manor Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, has officially welcomed the festive season in style, as the home was beautifully transformed with Christmas decorations created by residents and staff. On 29th November 2025, the home also hosted a joyful Christmas Fair, complete with raffle tickets, festive treats, and plenty of seasonal cheer.
Residents, family members, and staff all came together to decorate the home and take part in the celebrations, creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere. The event marked the perfect start to the festive period, a chance for everyone to come together, share joy, and embrace the spirit of community and inclusion.
Shourya Goswami, Receptionist at Leawood Manor, commented:
“I’m so proud to see Leawood Manor transformed for the festive season. The home is glowing with beautifully decorated Christmas trees that our residents helped create, and the sound of Alexa playing Christmas music fills the air with warmth. There have been cheers, laughter, and so many smiles as we all get into the Christmas spirit.
It’s been wonderful to watch families come together and generously donate items for our Christmas fair, while our cooks prepare festive treats and the wellbeing team organise a fantastic festive raffle. The Christmas period is truly in full swing here at Leawood Manor, and we’re all enjoying the start of this special time of year.
