Ivy Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, embraced the festive spirit on 3 December with a joyful ‘Cup of Cheer for Charity’ event in support of the Alzheimer’s Society. The celebration formed part of Elf Day, bringing residents, families, and staff together for a heart-warming morning of coffee, cake, and community fun.
Home Manager at Ivy Court, Stacey, shared her delight at the turnout and the enthusiasm shown by everyone involved. Residents and relatives were particularly impressed with the festive outfits worn by staff, with one family member commenting that the team “looked the part” and expressing how much they enjoyed hearing the residents sing.
The event featured a coffee and cake sale, which provided a warm and welcoming space for families and residents to spend time together while supporting an important cause. The atmosphere was filled with happiness, laughter, and festive cheer, reflecting Ivy Court’s ongoing commitment to engagement and community connection.
