Chelmunds Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, recently hosted a joyful celebration to mark the 100th birthday of their beloved resident, Jocelyn, on Saturday 21st June.
The event featured a special card-making activity where fellow residents created personalised birthday cards and heartfelt letters to honour Jocelyn’s milestone. The warm and welcoming atmosphere highlighted the strong sense of community within Chelmunds Court, as staff, residents, and friends came together to share in the occasion.
Jocelyn expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank you for celebrating my birthday. I appreciate it.”
A standout moment of the celebration was when Jocelyn saw her desk beautifully decorated with flowers, balloons, and the many handmade cards, making the day truly memorable.
