Jubilee Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, is delighted to announce the continued success of its monthly Gospel singing sessions, held on the second Sunday of every month in the home’s activity room. These uplifting gatherings include residents, their families, friends, and members of the wider community.
The visiting Gospel singers, occasionally joined by performers travelling from London while visiting loved ones, bring people together through powerful vocal performances and joyful messages. Their music fosters unity, strengthens community bonds, and creates a heartfelt sense of belonging for all who attend.
Deborah, Lifestyle Coordinator at Jubilee Court, shared her appreciation for the ongoing partnership:
“We originally received a visit from the preacher asking if they could come to Jubilee Court every second Sunday of each month to deliver a service for our residents. They have now been coming for around two years and have truly become part of our family here at Jubilee Court.”
She added:
“The music offers a powerful and emotional way to experience hope, serving as a source of strength and determination. Singing and sharing these moments together enhances group bonding and increases a sense of community for residents.”
Jubilee Court is excited to continue this meaningful collaboration and to promote events that uplift residents and strengthen connections with the broader community.
