Leatherland Lodge Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, celebrated Valentine’s Day in style on 13th February 2026 with a lively Valentine’s party, featuring music, a buffet, and a friendly table centrepiece competition. Residents were grouped with staff, family members, and visiting residents from Heron Court Care Home to create the most imaginative and festive table decorations.
The event was designed to encourage teamwork, communication, and the building of new friendships between residents, staff, and family. The added element of friendly competition inspired creativity and pride in all participants, creating a joyful and energetic atmosphere throughout the home.

“We had a fabulous time. Great fun and enjoyed the friendly competition with others. It was nice coming to another home and meeting new people, and we would definitely love to do it again.”
