Residents from Lower Meadow Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, enjoyed a wonderful day out on 12th November with a special trip to the Sea Life Centre, an outing they had personally requested and were thrilled to experience.
The group spent the day exploring fascinating marine life exhibits and listening to engaging talks from the Sea Life Centre staff. The residents were captivated by the displa
ys of colourful fish, graceful rays, and majestic sea turtles. To top off the experience, everyone enjoyed a relaxed picnic lunch featuring all their favourite foods.
The atmosphere throughout the day was calm and full of curiosity as everyone loved learning more about the underwater world. The residents were engaged and interested throughout the visit.
The trip was a great success and highlighted the importance of resident-led activities at Lower Meadow, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy experiences that bring them joy and spark new interests.
