Park View Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, welcomed the renowned dance production team Motionhouse for an extraordinary performance on the 17th of July. The event provided residents, staff, and guests with a captivating showcase of emotion and artistry through dance, resulting in a memorable and enriching afternoon.

The performance by Motionhouse was the highlight of a broader initiative that included 12 weeks of free workshops at Park View Care Home. These workshops have been instrumental in enhancing residents’ mobility and well-being, offering engaging weekly exercise dance sessions. The culmination of these workshops was celebrated with a performance that showcased the expressive power of dance.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from the management, carers, and residents of Park View Care Home. The performance was a testament to the profound impact of dance in fostering community connections and emotional expression.

Camilla, a representative from Motionhouse who has visited Park View numerous times to support dance and exercise classes, expressed gratitude following the performance: “Thank you to everyone at Park View and Bridie for allowing us to perform and share our work.
