On Sunday 15th December 2024, Park View Care Home in Warwick, part of the Runwood Homes group, hosted a dazzling talent show that brought together staff, residents, and their families for an evening filled with entertainment, laughter, and heartwarming moments.
The event, aptly titled Park View’s Got Talent, saw staff and residents take to the stage to showcase their unique abilities, from singing and dancing to comedic performances. A stage was set up in the home’s lounge area, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the event. The home also sold tickets to the show, with all proceeds going toward future entertainment and activities for the residents.
The whole home embraced the occasion, with staff and residents dressing up to perform and families cheering them on from the audience. The performances ranged from lighthearted and humorous acts to touching musical numbers, with everyone contributing to an unforgettable evening.
This event not only provided entertainment but also served a greater purpose: to raise funds for future activities and events that bring joy and enrichment to the lives of the residents.
Marion, a resident at Park View, who participated in the event, shared her excitement:
