Park View Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, proudly hosted its annual Christmas Fete on 22nd November 2025, bringing together residents, families, team members, and the wider Warwick community for a festive afternoon filled with joy, connection, and charitable spirit.
The event was organised to raise funds for the home’s Activities Fund, supporting meaningful experiences and engagement for residents throughout the year. Thanks to generous contributions from attendees and local businesses, including cake donations from a Warwick bakery and additional support from Tesco, the fete raised an impressive £270.
A highlight of the day was the special visit from the Mayor of Warwick, Jackie D’Arcy, who spent time meeting residents and enjoying the festive atmosphere.
Manager at Park View, Dani, shared her delight:
“It was a fantastic event and great to see the community involved. It was wonderful to welcome the Mayor and see residents enjoying the day.”
Lifestyle Coordinator, Bridie Hitches, who led the organisation of the fete, added:
“This was a great event. We have such a supportive community, and it was lovely to see friends and families come together to make it a success.”
