Residents at Redbond Lodge Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, enjoyed a heartwarming Music Morning with Joanne, a volunteer singer and performer. The session brought the therapeutic power of music to everyone involved.
Joanne first connected with residents at the Empire Theatre in Halstead while participating in the Dementia Choir Community. From that moment, she became a cherished friend, regularly visiting to sing and chat with residents. As Edith, one of the residents, simply put: “Perfect.”
The event involved residents, staff, and Joanne, all coming together to share moments that enhance memory, attention, and overall well-being. The atmosphere was full of warmth and admiration, with residents captivated by Joanne’s presence and performances.
