Residents from Frank Foster House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, were delighted to attend a joyful community event on Wednesday 11th June at Theydon Bois Community Centre. Sponsored by Home Instead Epping, the event featured a lively and nostalgic sing-along led by the talented Rock Choir.
The atmosphere was full of warmth, music, and connection as residents sang along to well-loved wartime favourites and mingled with local community members.
Resident Maureen shared her enjoyment, commenting, “I enjoyed the time there—and I met my friend Sally.”
The event, which highlighted the importance of community connection, was a beautiful example of intergenerational togetherness. Frank Foster House is always looking for opportunities to engage with the wider community, and events like this are not only fun but incredibly meaningful for residents.
A heartfelt thank you to Home Instead Epping, the Rock Choir, and all those involved in making the afternoon such a special one. From the sing-along to the chance to reunite with old friends, it was a day full of joy and memorable moments.
