Rosedale Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, was filled with joy and community spirit during its week of celebrations for Easter. Residents, families, and staff came together to take part in a range of fun activities, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
The week kicked off with a variety of exciting events, including egg and spoon races, Easter card crafts, and a spirited tea trolley competition. The residents also took part in an Easter church service, with the week being rounded off with a family day, packed with an Easter egg hunt and a lively party with entertainment for all to enjoy.
Residents at Rosedale Court expressed how much fun they had throughout the week, with family member Maria adding, “What a fun week! So much laughter and joy.”
A standout moment of the celebrations was a performance by live singer Beverly Stone, whose incredible voice wowed the residents.
The celebrations didn’t stop there, as resident Steve was also celebrating his birthday. Reflecting on the week’s events, he said, “What a lovely way to spend my birthday!”
Family participation was encouraged throughout the week, with the Family Egg & Spoon Race being a particular highlight. The friendly competition sparked lots of laughter and friendly rivalry, showcasing the strong sense of community at Rosedale Court.
