Rosedale Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, proudly hosted a heartfelt and successful Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 26th September 2025, raising £110.00 in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event, part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning initiative, brought together residents, families, and the Lifestyle Team for a meaningful morning filled with coffee, cake, and remembrance. The café at Rosedale Court, was beautifully decorated in Macmillan’s signature green and white, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all who attended.
Members of the community commented that it is always great to support such a good cause, and how this event allows them to remember friends and family they’ve lost to cancer.
Residents and families enjoyed a relaxing and touching morning, taking the time to share stories, support one another, and raise funds for a cause close to many hearts. As part of a global event, the coffee morning helped residents feel connected to a much wider community effort in the fight against cancer.
The £110 raised will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support, helping them continue their vital work supporting people living with cancer and their loved ones.
