Residents of Waterfield House care home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, visited Tesco to begin their festive Christmas shopping. From choosing Christmas decorations to selecting gifts and even a variety of cheeses, residents had a wonderful time picking out presents for themselves and their loved ones.
“It was brilliant to see Waterfield House visit Tesco for their Christmas shopping,” said a Tesco representative. One resident commented: “It was lovely to see so many friendly people and enjoy the Christmas spirit with each other.”
The trip provided residents with the opportunity to enjoy the community, celebrate the festive season, and create memorable experiences outside the care home. The atmosphere was cheerful and warm.
Waterfield House continues to focus on engaging residents in meaningful activities that enrich their daily lives and foster a sense of independence and enjoyment.
