On Saturday 26th April, Westwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, was transformed into a scene straight out of the Wild West, as residents, staff, and families came together for a themed party filled with music, laughter, and community spirit.
The event featured live entertainment from talented singer Keeley, who performed a toe-tapping variety of country and western classics. The room was decked out in full Western décor and residents, staff and relatives dressed up for the occasion, creating a vibrant and cheery atmosphere that had everyone smiling from start to finish.
The party was part of Westwood‘s ongoing initiative to host themed events every month, aimed at continuing connection and joy among residents, their families, and staff.
One visitor, Hazel, daughter of a resident, shared her delight, commenting, “this was another amazing event.”
The Wild West celebration is just one example of how Westwood continues to create meaningful and joyful experiences that bring people together and build a stronger sense of community.
