Westwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, held its annual Christmas Party on Monday 22 December, bringing residents, families, and staff together for an afternoon of festive celebration in the Day Centre from 2–6pm.
The event was organised by Lifestyle Coordinators Natasha and Chloe and is part of Westwood’s tradition of hosting a Christmas Party each year. The celebration aimed to unite everyone at the care home during the Christmas season and create a joyful, shared experience for all involved.
The afternoon featured live Christmas music performed by singer Keeley, with residents enthusiastically singing and dancing along throughout the event. Guests also enjoyed a homemade buffet prepared by the home’s chef, Glenn. A special highlight of the day was a visit from Santa, who delivered gifts to residents, adding to the festive excitement.
The atmosphere throughout the event was highly festive, with everyone embracing the Christmas spirit. Residents, families, and staff described the day as magical from start to finish, with the sense of togetherness standing out as a key highlight.
Westwood continues to prioritise meaningful social events that bring its community together, particularly during important times of the year such as Christmas.
