Westwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, welcomed 2025 with a heartwarming and joyous New Year Party on 30th December in the Activity Room. The day was full of sparkles and smiles as residents, staff, and family members gathered to celebrate the occasion in style.
Westwood care home was beautifully decorated for the event, creating a festive atmosphere that set the tone for an unforgettable celebration. Residents, their loved ones, and the dedicated staff members were all dressed in glittering outfits, making the party feel even more special. The kitchen team delighted everyone with delicious homemade cakes and savoury nibbles, while a few residents enjoyed a little festive tipple. The highlight of the day was a lively session of dancing and singing, with James, a talented guitarist and singer, performing a variety of songs that kept the room full of cheer a firm favourite of the residents.
This event was not just about the fun and laughter but about fostering community spirit and bringing everyone together to celebrate the joy of the season. It was a meaningful occasion for residents, their families, and the entire care home team.
