Windle Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, celebrated Christmas by bringing residents and their loved ones together. This year, their Christmas meal was a truly special occasion, filled with laughter, music, and delicious food.
The event, held on 16th December 2025, featured a three-course meal prepared by our amazing chef Joyce, accompanied by plenty of tea, coffee, and wine. Charlotte and Lee, our Lifestyle team, alongside Care Assistant Paige, ensured every resident and family member enjoyed a five-star dining experience.
Family members were full of praise, with one commenting, “Thank you so much for this amazing meal,” and another adding, “Charlotte and Lee did an amazing job keeping us all entertained, and Joyce made such a yummy Christmas meal.” Resident Kate shared her joy, saying, “It was so nice to see my family and have a meal with them.”
The atmosphere throughout the day was vibrant and cheerful, with festive tunes and laughter filling the dining area. Charlotte added, “What stood out most for me was watching all my residents smile as they spent time with the people they love most.”
This annual tradition is particularly meaningful at Windle Court, as it helps combat the loneliness that the holiday season can sometimes bring.
