Windmill House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, welcomed families in vibrant style with a fun-filled 80s Disco, held on 8 January 2026, bringing together residents, families and staff for an afternoon of music, laughter and celebration.
The event featured live 80s disco entertainment by Chris Wilson, with residents and staff embracing the theme by dressing up in colourful neon fancy dress. A photo booth added to the excitement, capturing joyful moments as everyone danced, sang along and truly “got their groove on”.
The celebration was especially meaningful as it marked Windmill House’s first party of 2026, offering a wonderful opportunity for residents and families to come together and start the year on a high note. The event was inspired by a resident’s wish for a disco, highlighting the home’s commitment to creating experiences shaped by residents’ interests and choices.
