Greenbanks care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, proudly announces their latest collaboration with the Hertfordshire-based charity, Small Acts of Kindness, an organisation dedicated to supporting older individuals through essential supplies, helpful information, and thoughtful gifts. On the 25th of October, Greenbanks’ residents and team members came together to assemble and package porridge gift packs that will soon be distributed to older community members in need.
The day was filled with enthusiasm and a shared sense of purpose as participants worked together to create these carefully packaged gifts. The porridge packs, a small gesture of warmth and nourishment, will bring comfort to local seniors as the colder months approach. Each package reflects the collaborative spirit of the Greenbanks community and their shared commitment to supporting the older generation.
Greenbanks residents found the event rewarding and expressed heartfelt enthusiasm for the cause. Freddy, one of the residents who participated, shared his thoughts, saying:
“I enjoyed doing this; it was very good to do it and help. I would do this again and help other people.”
