Tools Down’ is a dedicated time each day when all departments pause routine tasks to focus on what matters most—spending meaningful time with residents. During this time, teams connect with individuals and groups, building relationships and encouraging social interaction in a relaxed, engaging, and supportive environment.

Champions

Champions are team members or residents who take on a special role to enhance care and life within the home. Green Champions focus on sustainability and environmentally friendly practices, Dementia Champions provide guidance and support to improve memory care, and Resident Champions represent residents’ voices, ensuring their preferences and ideas are heard and acted upon. Together, they help create a more supportive, engaging, and inclusive environment.
