Residents and staff were delighted to meet the distinguished guest, with Peter, a resident, expressing, “It was an honour to meet the High Sheriff.” The visit was particularly special for Joan, another resident, who was celebrating her birthday. “I am so pleased to meet the 804th High Sheriff of Essex on my birthday,” she shared with a smile.
The afternoon featured live entertainment by Steve, ensuring a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for all in attendance. Nicolas, the Home Manager, highlighted the importance of community involvement, stating, “Events like these help foster a sense of belonging and appreciation for our dedicated staff and wonderful residents.”
