Residents and families at Rosedale Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, enjoyed a truly special day on Sunday 15th June, as the home hosted a Father’s Day ‘Pop-Up Pub’ celebration, bringing loved ones together for music, laughter, and cherished memories.
Rosedale Court’s café was transformed into a traditional pub setting, complete with flags, pub-style décor, and a cheerful Father’s Day backdrop. The lively sounds of Chas & Dave filled the room, encouraging plenty of toe-tapping, singing, and smiles.
The afternoon featured classic pub games including Beer Pong and Tin Can Alley, which proved to be a big hit with both residents and their loved ones. Guests also enjoyed homemade treats, including sausage rolls and cheese & bacon swirls, kindly prepared by Marion, wife of resident Bill, a thoughtful gesture that brought extra joy to the gathering.
Resident Charlie shared, “My family loved the pub and Chas & Dave music!” while Anthony added, “So nice to be in the pub with my family!”
Photos were taken in front of the large Father’s Day backdrop, capturing the joy and love shared throughout the day.
The team at Rosedale Court are proud to have created such a meaningful and enjoyable experience, ensuring every father felt celebrated and every family left with a smile.
