The gardens of Ashwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, came alive with colour and music as residents, relatives, and staff came together to celebrate the home’s Annual Summer Fete.
The day featured live entertainment, a sizzling BBQ, a variety of fun stalls and games, and plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere. The event was fun for everyone involved and was a perfect way to enjoy the summer together.
“It was a wonderful day that truly brought the Ashwood community together,” said the Home Manager. “We saw smiles everywhere you looked, from residents dancing in the sunshine to relatives enjoying food and festivities with their loved ones.”
Feedback from families was overwhelmingly positive. One relative commented, “It was such a lovely event, we really enjoyed the food, the different stalls, and the atmosphere. The whole day was a huge success!”
The Summer Fete is a much-loved tradition at Ashwood, providing an opportunity for everyone in the home’s extended family to connect, celebrate, and create happy memories together.
