residents at Mulberry Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, enjoyed a vibrant Mocktail Happy Hour Afternoon, designed to bring both refreshment and fun to one of the hottest days of the summer.
The Lifestyle Team transformed an ordinary trolley into a colourful mobile mocktail bar, complete with bright ribbons and cheerful decorations. Dressed to match the occasion, team members served a variety of fruity, alcohol-free cocktails to residents, bringing the party directly to their doors.
“The residents really enjoyed the change from our usual teas and coffee,” said one of the Lifestyle Coordinators at Mulberry Court Care Home. “It was such a simple idea, but it created such a joyful atmosphere.”
A standout moment came when residents were served their drinks in elegant cocktail glasses, adding a touch of glamour to the afternoon. Marcel, a member of the Lifestyle Team, received special praise for his bright, eye-catching shirt, which perfectly matched the colourful trolley and added to the fun.
