Frank Foster House Care Home, part of Runwood Homes Group, embraced the Wild West spirit with a lively Cowboy Day celebration, part of the home’s popular “Tours Around the World” Friday tradition.
The idea for this week’s theme came from Harry, a resident and lifelong fan of western films, who inspired the team to bring the cowboy spirit to life. From Stetsons to boots, both residents and staff enjoyed dressing up, taking part in energetic line dancing, and sharing plenty of smiles and laughter together.
Home Manager of Frank Foster House, Nicolas Kee Mew, said:
“Cowboy Day was a joyful celebration that truly brought our community together. It was wonderful to see residents light up with excitement, enjoying the music, movement, and fun atmosphere.”
The day was filled with music and western-themed fun, creating a vibrant atmosphere where everyone felt involved. A special highlight was watching residents try out line dancing steps with staff, sparking laughter and applause from onlookers.
