On 8th October 2025, Humfrey Lodge Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, hosted a vibrant Asian Food Day, bringing together residents, loved ones, guests, and staff for a day filled with culture, flavour, and connection.
The event aimed to deepen community bonds and offer residents an enriching cultural experience through the universal language of food.
The day featured a variety of authentic Asian dishes prepared by the home’s talented chef team, showcasing the rich culinary heritage of different cultures. Residents and their families had the chance to explore new flavours, share stories, and learn more about the cultural backgrounds of the care team at Humfrey Lodge.
Malcom, Home Ambassador, shared his thoughts on the event:
