H6 Wellbeing RosedaleResidents from Rosedale Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, embraced the Halloween spirit with a fun-filled bus trip to Scott’s Garden Nursery, followed by a delicious lunch at the Anne Boleyn Public House.

Residents admired the Halloween displays, met the nursery’s famous Highland cows, and even picked out pumpkins to bring back home for carving.

Lifestyle Team members at Rosedale Court, Pauline and Ella, were delighted to see residents enjoying themselves and engaging with the festive decorations.

Residents shared their thoughts on the day:

Dolly Newman said, “I loved dressing up in my Halloween top. I felt part of the displays when I got there, haha!”
Marion Roth added, “It was lovely to see all the Highland cows.”
David Lansdowne shared, “It was fun with all the scary things going on.”
Reg Saward simply summed it up: “I enjoyed the whole day.”

The outing was designed to give residents the opportunity to visit familiar places and enjoy activities they might have once done with their families, a key focus for Rosedale Court’s Lifestyle Team.

“It’s so important to give residents the chance to explore, reminisce, and have fun outside of the home,” said the Lifestyle Lead Coordinator. “Trips like this bring joy, connection, and a sense of normality to everyday life.” H2 Wellbeing Rosedale
