There wasn’t a dry eye in the room at Ivy Court Care Home as two sisters, Shirley and Ann, were reunited to celebrate Shirley’s birthday. The special moment was made even more touching as Ann, who is a new resident at Ivy Court, surprised her sister with a visit that left everyone moved to tears.
There was cake, and dancing as the sisters reminisced together. The atmosphere was emotional yet joyful, with residents and staff joining in the celebration. One of the most heart-warming moments came when Shirley and Ann stood together and danced to “My Girl”, smiling and pointing to each other, a beautiful reminder of the unbreakable bond between sisters.
