Ivy Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, welcomed local children, community members, residents, and staff for a lively and heart-warming Halloween celebration.
The Halloween party featured a variety of activities, including games, delicious sweet treats, and a “Best Fancy Dress” competition. With so many wonderful costumes on display, resident Gladys shared, “It was hard to choose the best fancy dress – they all looked amazing! That’s why I picked three winners!”
The local childminder service also expressed its gratitude, noting that the children “absolutely loved it,” and even returned with sweets and chocolates as a thank you to the home.
The atmosphere throughout the event was full of energy, excitement, and plenty of joyful noise filling the home.
Speaking after the event, Home Manager of Ivy Court, Stacey Dean, said:
“This party was important to us because it keeps the bond strong between Ivy Court and our local community. Seeing our residents sharing joy with children and families is truly special.”
The idea for the event came directly from the home team’s commitment to community engagement and resident well-being. The event was a tremendous success, bringing all generations together for fun, friendship, and festive celebration.
