Wisden Court, part of the Runwood Homes group, was delighted to celebrate World Kindness Day with a special visit from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s Association Stevenage. The visit marked another wonderful chapter in a community relationship that has flourished for the past three years.
Wisden Court are always happy to welcome the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s Association into the home. The continued kindness, warmth and dedication to the residents make these visits incredibly meaningful.
Residents were equally thrilled by the visit. One resident, A.S., shared:
“I’m so happy the ladies and children came back to see us—what a lovely afternoon! They are so kind!”
During the afternoon, residents and visitors enjoyed arts and crafts, singing, and friendly conversations, creating a joyful and inclusive atmosphere. The women’s association kindly brought cards and presents for the residents, adding an extra touch of warmth to the celebration.
The event brought together Wisden Court staff, residents, and members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s Association, strengthening an important community link that reflects the spirit of World Kindness Day.
“The atmosphere was truly lovely,” Sarah, Home Manager at Wisden Court, added. “Full of kind gestures and words.”
Wisden Court looks forward to continuing this valued partnership and creating more happy moments for residents in the future.
