Residents from Rosedale Court care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a spring outing to the beautiful gardens of Hylands House.
The trip saw residents Steve, Marion, Patricia, Jean, Gill, and Pamela come together for a relaxing day immersed in nature, sunshine, and community spirit.
Residents spent the morning strolling through the gardens, taking in the picturesque surroundings and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. A local dog walker warmly commented on how lovely it was to see everyone out enjoying themselves.
Residents shared heartfelt reflections on their day:
- Steve reflected, “I used to come here with my wife a lot, and it brings back lovely memories.”
- Gill said, “I’ve never been here before, it’s beautiful.”
- Jean Skues said, “It’s been a lovely day.”
- Marion commented, “Lovely gardens, and my omelette was so fresh and tasty.”
- Patricia Hollington added, “I love the lake.”
Rosedale Court regularly organises minibus trips to local places of interest, with Hylands House being a firm favourite among residents, who always look forward to returning.
