Alexandra House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, is proud to share the success of a recent Skills Boot Camp. The programme was delivered in collaboration with Harlow Jobcentre and Harlow College, supporting unemployed individuals into careers within health and social care.
Working closely with Harlow Jobcentre Plus and Harlow College, the team at Alexandra House supported learners in achieving important milestones, including the Care Certificate, Emergency First Aid at Work training, and developing an understanding of dementia care.
By sharing their knowledge and providing real-world experience, the Alexandra House team has helped equip individuals with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in a rewarding and vital sector.
The success of the initiative demonstrates the positive impact that partnership working can have, not only in addressing workforce needs but also in empowering individuals to build confidence, gain new skills, and move forward into fulfilling careers.
