On 22nd May 2026, Leawood Manor Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, proudly unveiled its new 100 Club, a dedicated area within the home created to recognise and celebrate the incredible lives of residents aged 100 and over.
The special new space was developed by staff and residents as a meaningful tribute to honour the experiences, achievements and contributions of Leawood Manor’s centenarian community. The area has been thoughtfully designed as a place for reflection, connection and pride, allowing residents, visitors and staff to celebrate the remarkable stories and history shared by those who have reached this extraordinary milestone.
The launch of the 100 Club marks an important moment for the home, highlighting Leawood Manor’s ongoing commitment to recognising the individuality and life journeys of its residents. It serves as a lasting celebration of the wisdom, resilience and inspiration these residents bring to the home every day.
“We are incredibly proud to create a dedicated space that celebrates our wonderful residents aged 100 and over. Each resident has lived through remarkable moments in history and brings so much wisdom, warmth and inspiration to our home every day. This area is a small tribute to the extraordinary lives they have lived and continue to share with us.”
