WWE Star Paige Saraya Visits St Michael’s Court

St Michael’s Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, was buzzing with excitement on 3 July 2026 when internationally renowned WWE superstar Saraya (formerly known as Paige) made a surprise visit to the home, creating special moments for residents, staff, and relatives alike.

The visit came as a special surprise for Lifestyle Coordinator, Nikki, Saraya’s sister. With Saraya only back in the UK for two days and Nikki scheduled to be at work, it looked as though the sisters would miss the opportunity to see one another. Determined not to let that happen, Saraya arranged a visit to St Michael’s Court Care Home, much to everyone’s delight.

During the afternoon, Saraya spent time visiting all three floors of the home, chatting with residents, relatives, and team members. Despite her international fame, residents and staff were struck by her warmth, humility, and genuine interest in meeting everyone.

The atmosphere throughout the home was fantastic, with many staff members and relatives initially shocked to see the WWE star walk through the doors. Excitement quickly spread as people asked for photographs, autographs, and the chance to speak with her.

One of the most memorable aspects of the visit was Saraya’s interaction with residents. While some recognised her from her successful wrestling career, television appearances, and the hit film Fighting with My Family, many residents simply enjoyed sharing their own stories and experiences. Saraya happily sat and listened, creating meaningful moments and connections throughout the afternoon.

Saraya, who grew up in Norwich, has become one of the UK’s most recognisable wrestling stars. She made history after joining WWE at just 18 years old and has since starred in the reality television series Total Divas. Her life story inspired the critically acclaimed film Fighting with My Family and is now being adapted into a stage musical. In 2026, she also signed a new contract with WWE, continuing her remarkable career. With more than six million followers on Instagram, her visit generated considerable excitement among those at the home.

The visit brought together management, carers, nurses, residents, relatives, and visitors, creating a day that highlighted the importance of community, family connections, and creating special moments for those living and working at St Michael’s Court Care Home.
