Residents and staff at Redbond Lodge care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, recently enjoyed a minibus trip to The Gardens of Easton Lodge.
The group received a warm welcome from the Easton Lodge team on arrival before setting off for a stroll around the grounds. Residents had the opportunity to explore some of the gardens’ highlights, including the Italian Sunken Garden, Treehouse and Walled Kitchen Garden, before relaxing and enjoying refreshments in the grounds.
A member of the team said: “There is a lot of history about Easton Lodge, a Historic England Grade II listed site dating back to Tudor times, which has been restored by a team of dedicated volunteers.”
The visit was a wonderful opportunity for Redbond Lodge residents and staff to enjoy time together away from the home, connect with the local community and experience the beauty and history of a much-loved local attraction.
