Rosedale Court care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, celebrated achieving a ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) with a special staff appreciation event recognising the dedication, compassion and hard work.
To recognise the people behind the success, the home’s manager organised a celebration that brought colleagues together to reflect on how far the home has come and to thank every department for its contribution to residents’ care and wellbeing.
For the occasion, Rosedale Court’s lounge was transformed with banners and balloons, while staff enjoyed a selection of food and presents.
A special awards ceremony provided another opportunity to recognise colleagues and celebrate their individual and collective contributions to life at Rosedale Court.
One relative said they were “so happy we found Rosedale for mum”, while another shared that their mother had been so well cared for that they “could not have found a better place for her”.
A member of staff said: “It is both a pleasure and an honour to be part of such a fantastic team. This has been a long time coming and is so deserved because of the dedication, love and compassion shown by everyone at Rosedale.”
The event provided an opportunity to recognise the people behind this achievement and to reinforce a positive culture in which colleagues feel valued, appreciated and proud of the difference they make every day. Above all, it was a chance to say a heartfelt thank you to the entire Rosedale Court team for their continued dedication and for everything they do to support residents and their families.
