Residents of Low Furlong care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, along with members of the Royal British Legion and the local community, came together for a summer fete, to raise money for the Royal British Legion.
One of the highlights of the day was seeing residents getting involved with their own stalls and enjoying conversations with members of the community. The event also celebrated the wonderful connection between Low Furlong and the Shipston branch of the Royal British Legion.
Di, a resident at Low Furlong, said: “It was a wonderful day, and it was great to see myself and other residents getting involved with selling and talking to members of the community.”
Events like the Low Furlong summer fete are a lovely opportunity for residents, staff and the community to come together and enjoy quality time together.
