Residents of Tallis House care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, their families, and members of the local community came together for a summer fete, creating a fun day filled with entertainment and laughter.
Guests were treated to a fantastic selection of attractions, including a raffle, tombola, stalls, a circus performance and live music. There was something for everyone to enjoy!
One of the most memorable moments came when the Tallis House residents’ WE CAN Choir took to the stage to perform. Their performance was warmly received and became a real highlight of the celebrations, with residents proudly showcasing their talents and sharing their love of music.
Those attending were quick to praise the event, with one guest commenting: “It was such a wonderful day.”
Another guest of Tallis House said: “It was so good to see the community come together.”
The Tallis House residents’ choir also received plenty of appreciation, with one attendee simply describing the performance as: “The residents’ choir was amazing.”
The Tallis House annual summer fete once again demonstrated the importance of community spirit, providing a welcoming space where residents, families and local people could enjoy one another’s company and celebrate together.
