Residents of Laureate Court care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, along with staff and family members came together for a fun-filled Sports Day, creating an enjoyable afternoon packed with friendly competition.
Laureate Court residents were supported by staff and family members throughout the activities, creating a wonderfully inclusive atmosphere where everyone could take part at their own pace.
One Laureate Court resident described the occasion as: “Such a lovely day! Staff, residents and family haven’t laughed so much in a long time.”
The excitement reached its peak when the results were announced, with the yellow team taking the win. Their victory was a standout moment of the day and was met with plenty of celebration from the winning team and their supporters.
The Laureate Court Sports Day demonstrated how spending time with loved ones and taking part in enjoyable activities can bring people together and create a strong sense of community.
