The residents of Mulberry Court Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, were delighted to welcome two very special visitors, Charlie and Pickles, the therapy ponies, who spent the day at the home.
The ponies quickly became a favourite with residents, who enjoyed giving them plenty of fuss and attention. Their visit brought a lot of smiles, laughter and conversations, with Charlie and Pickles proving to be very popular visitors.
Jeanette, a resident at Mulberry Court, particularly loved the visit as it reminded her of when her uncle used to breed Arabian horses. The experience brought back wonderful memories from when she was younger.
For Mulberry Court residents, visits from animals like Charlie and Pickles are a lovely opportunity for residents to enjoy new experiences and create meaningful moments.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day for everyone, and the residents are already looking forward to welcoming their four-legged friends back again soon!
